The Panama players were fighting for a picture with Lionel Messi after they lost to Argentina last night.
The South American side got a hero’s welcome as they walked out onto the pitch in Buenos Aires on Thursday night, the first time they are playing at home since winning the World Cup in December.
It was a successful homecoming for the champions who managed to see out a 2-0 win over Panama.

However, after the game, a host of Panama players lined up to take a picture with Messi despite the loss they had just suffered.

Messi broke yet another milestone on the night, netting his 800th career goal with a sensational freekick to make it 2-0 late on.
