Absolutely disgusting to see this reported today, according to the Independent there was a minor hurling challenge match between Offaly and Waterford was abandoned following an alleged incident of racist abuse.

The match, was into the second half when a Waterford player is alleged to have been verbally abused by an Offaly opponent.

It will be interested what comes of this, in this day and age it’s shocking to report that this type of behaviour is still taking place and especially in the GAA. The GAA is such a community and local thing, to have this in our game it’s disgusting, the GAA will have to take action on this I feel..
