Heung-Min Son says he is happy about key figure returning for Tottenham’s clash with AC Milan

Heung-Min Son has admitted he is happy about Antonio Conte returning to the dugout for Spurs’ clash with AC Milan in the Champions League.

Conte is set to return to the dugout after recovering from a gallbladder operation and Son says that he is happy about his manager’s return.

I’m happy that the manager’s sitting next to me and he’ll bring good energy to the team.”

The South Korean then gave his thoughts about the effect Conte’s absence has had on his team.

The staff have done a good job but obviously when the boss is not here, it’s different.

From yesterday, we could feel his passion and energy, so if he’s on the touchline the players will be more comfortable and they’ll get that boost and energy back.”

Spurs’ clash with AC Milan kicks off tomorrow evening at 20:00 BST.
