There was a cracking game of hurling last night between Tipperary and Waterford at Semple Stadium, Thurles. The full-time score was 4-23 0-25 to Tipperary. After the game everyone was watching closely as Davy Fitzgerald shook hands with the former Waterford boss and now Tipperary boss Liam Cahill.
Davy said "I could have been doing match of the day tonight only for the fact we'd to play ye, I won't forget ye for it".

The two teams will meet again in a few weeks time in the Munster hurling Championship, there’s no love lost between the two. Munster is going to be hotly contested again this year with only three teams that will make it out of the hurling strong province.
Limerick are the team to beat again this year as the Treaty county will look to win their fifth All-Ireland in six years.
