The former footballer of the year and one of the best to come out of Donegal Michael Murphy has decided to hang up his boots from inter county. There’s no doubt about it, but on his day he was one of the best ever to grace Croke Park or any GAA pitch.

Michael Murphy is still quite young and a lot of people are surprised with his decision, but it just shows the levels that are expected at inter county level and Michael Murphy runs his own business and it must be hard to juggle both, good luck with his club and his business, he will be fondly remembered as one of Donegal’s greats.
