Podcast With Former Munster & Ireland Player David Corkery

Posted by

This week I sit down and talk to former Munster, Bristol and Irish rugby player David Corkery. Dave lined out for Ireland 27 times and played in two World Cups in 1994 and 1999. Dave was one of the toughest and hardest working players to play for Ireland and one of the youngest back-row players to make his debut in 1994.

Dave has vast experience in the game and went on to coach Sunday’s Well and Cork Con when he walked away from the game. In this podcast I talk to Dave about the England v Ireland Legends match on Friday night in aid of Gary Halpin who sadly passed away last year.

We also preview the big one between England and Ireland at Twickenham on Saturday afternoon and Dave talks about his battles in life and overcoming them and how he would never take no for an answer when it came to making it as a pro. Make sure to give this a listen
