When asked about the prospect of facing Wilder, the Brit said to Sky Sports:
βItβs a fight that fans want to see. βIβm not saying itβs completely written off.
βItβs a fight where everything was signed and sealed. It just needed both of us to deliver. And he didnβt meet his end of the bargain.β
βYou now what it proved to me, Iβve signed to fight Fury, Iβve signed to fight Wilder, Iβve signed to fight a lot of people. I just do good business. Iβm a good prizefighter, I donβt duck a challenge.
βIβm always up for it. Iβll always be here and ready to fight any time.β
Anthony Joshua now has a clash with Francis Ngannou to look forward to before a potential clash with the winner of the undisputed clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk on May 18th.
