🥊 Mike Tyson makes Tyson Fury versus Oleksandr Usyk prediction

Mike Tyson has shared his thoughts on the Tyson Fury versus Oleksandr Usyk bout.

The Gypsy King and the Ukrainian heavyweight looked set to collide earlier this year until talks broke down, much to the dismay of boxing fans. But out of nowhere it was announced yesterday that the pair had signed contracts for a undisputed clash in either December or January.

In a recent interview with IFLTV ‘Iron Mike’ gave his prediction. He said,

“Tyson Fury [will win], he’ll over power him.

“Usyk can’t run that long with him. Tyson’s going to wear him down, he’ll get on him, wear him down and then he’s going to pound on him.

“Usyk’s not going to win a title running. Usyk’s not going to beat Tyson moving and running, at some point in the fight he’s going to have to fight.

“Fury’s a different fighter to AJ, he’s going to be more consistently on the guy but AJ nearly stopped him with body punches, AJ was hurting him with body punches but he was doing it often enough.”

Fury will first have to come through unscathed against Francis Ngannou on October 28th before he can then turn his attention to the Ukrainian.

  1. I have heard this before, as a rule the larger man in a specific weight class generally wins. Lennox Lewis said the same. Stranger things have happened, but my money is on Fury.
