Premier league bosses have been urged to explain FFP investigations which have been alleged to have been ‘inconsistent’.

The worst of which was the decision to rule out a Luis Diaz goal during Liverpool’s loss to Tottenham, after a misunderstanding between the VAR official and the referee.

In order to limit that from happening again, the Premier League has enlisted the help of pilots to improve communication between officials, according to The Times.

Howard Webb, chief of the PGMOL, reportedly played a key role in putting this meeting together.
