The former Blues midfielder has been linked with a sensational move back to Chelsea as their new manager hunt continues.
Frank Lampard was spotted in the Stamford Bridge stands on Tuesday as his former side took on Liverpool, fuelling speculation over a potential return.
The 44-year-old has been out of a job since he got the sack from Everton and according to reports is being considered for the interim manager position until the end of the season.
Graham Potter was let go from his position last Sunday after a humiliating 2-0 loss to Aston Villa at home with his former assistant, Bruno Saltor, currently the caretaker manager.
The Blues have already been linked with a host of managers but a move for the club legend until the end of the season would be a huge shock.
