Chris Kamara left Sky Sports a year ago due to his ongoing battle with apraxia of speech.
And now he’s sadly been forced to pull out of another TV role ahead of this weekend.
Kamara Tweeted the news on Monday. He wrote:
“Due to my ongoing speech problems I have reluctantly pulled out of presenting this year’s UK’s Strongest Man. The show will be In Nottingham this weekend. If you fancy? Please go along – it’s spectacular.”

Hopefully the TV legend will be back on our screens in the near future.
Remember the day at Cheltenham races Chrissy, in the VIP Box overlooking the finishing line, and a lad thought he recognised you, and you, holding centre attention with a circle of people around, you leant forward with arrogance and said “Yeeeeees?” and the lad quickly realised he had no idea why on earth you were and turned away, just as everyone else turned to look who it was you were talking to, but the lad was gone, which left you standing there, embarrassed… But what do you do Chrissy.. You went to the security to try and get the lad turfed form the VIP room, but you couldnt, because that lad was Marcus Chamberlain, one of the nicest must humble gentment to walk this planet, and so, you left the room, with ya tail betwene ya legs. Sad man, ya.
